At home on all trails: The all-round MTB helmet uvex unbound promises first-class performance in any terrain. Its integrated MIPS system provides additional impact protection in the event of an accident.

Uphill, downhill, stones, roots, flow trails or gravel paths – MTB tours are diverse. All-rounder qualities in rider and material are in demand. The uvex unbound is an impact-resistant inmold helmet with 23 vents, fly net and adjustable visor, thought out to the smallest detail. Its safety concept is based on the integrated MIPS system. In the event of an impact, MIPS effectively reduces the rotational forces acting on the brain, providing additional protection to the rider.

Thanks to the IAS adjustment system, the helmet can be ideally adapted to any head shape and the FAS strap system keeps it in the right position at all times. The monomatic closure allows for easy, one-handed donning and doffing.

Technologies

MIPS
MIPS is a system that protects against brain injuries that can be caused by rotational movement during an impact. The low-friction insert allows a sliding movement of 10-15 mm in all directions, reducing rotational movement during a fall. MIPS thus provides an additional level of protection.

Inmould Technology
EPS is foamed directly into the impact-resistant polycarbonate shell. For a helmet construction that is as light as it is very stable.

IAS
With the uvex IAS system, helmets can be adjusted in width. After all, everyone has their own individual head.

FAS
The Fast Adapting System harness can be easily and continuously adjusted exactly to the shape of one’s head. This keeps the helmet firmly on the head in all situations and the webbing always in the optimum position.

Monomatic
Multi-stage and anatomically shaped: The uvex Monomatic comfort closure can be opened and closed with just one hand at the touch of a button. So the chin strap always fits perfectly.
